Eligibility

• Educational Qualification
• Candidates must have passed Class 10th (SSC/Matriculation) from a recognized board.
• The 10th qualification must be from the concerned State/UT falling under the regional jurisdiction of the recruiting RBI office.
• Applicants must be undergraduates as on 01 January 2026.
• Graduates or candidates with higher educational qualifications are NOT eligible to apply.
• Candidates pursuing graduation or holding any degree qualification will be disqualified.
• Eligibility for Ex-Servicemen
  
  • Ex-servicemen must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation).
  • Must have completed at least 15 years of defence service.
  • Ex-servicemen who have obtained graduation outside the Armed Forces are not eligible.
  • Graduation acquired during defence service will be considered as per RBI rules.
  • Local Language Proficiency
    
    • Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the concerned State/UT.
    • Proficiency must include:
      
      • Reading
      • Writing
      • Speaking
      • Understanding
    • Local language knowledge is mandatory for the recruiting office applied for.
    • Candidates may be required to prove language proficiency during the selection process.
